You can eat it with sliced fruit, a cup of milk, some chopped nuts, can sprinkle ground flax seed for added fiber and omegas.

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal (simple)

1 cup oats, raw
4 cups water
1/4 cup brown sugar or molasses
1 pinch salt
1 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal (simple)

  1. Place first 4 ingredients in pot, at medium heat once it starts to simmer reduce heat to low, let it cook for about 15, 20 or 30 min. to the consistency you like (I like it sort of sloppy) stir once in a while.

  2. Put a cup of the mixture in a bowl sprinkle some cinnamon, and add the condiments you like.

  3. Enjoy!
