Can make with white or whole wheat flour or combination of both.

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Scones

1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/4 cups oatmeal, quick cooking
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
3 tbsp orange juice, concentrate

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Scones

  1. Put first 5 ingredients in food processor.

  2. Add cold butter cut in chunks to food processor.

  3. Beat together the egg and orange juice concentrate and add to food processor.

  4. Put large scoops on baking stone.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 14-16 minutes.
