creamy oatmeal the way mom always made it

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal

3/4 cup oatmeal
1 T flaxseed meal
1 cup whole milk
2 t sugar
1/2 t vanilla extract
1 dash cinnamon
1/8 t sea salt

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal

  1. combine everything.

  2. cook over medium low heat sirring frequently until thickened.

  3. alternatively may be cooked in rice cooker or crock pot on low (2-3 hrs.)

  4. dash cinnamon my be replace with half a cinnamon stick.
