Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal

3/4 cup rolled oats
1 1/4 cup water
1/4 c raisins
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal

  1. Stovetop:

  2. Combine water, oats, cinnamon and salt. Bring to boil. Cook about 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. ladle to a bowl. Stir in raisins.

  3. Microwave:

  4. Combine water, oats, cinnamon and salt in medium microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. Toss in raisins. Stir before serving.

  5. Accompany with ice cold milk or cream, and top with brown sugar or sugar substitute.
