Two of these give the optimum protein/carb ratio after a workout! ie. 10/40 grams

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Raisin Protein Muffins

1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup liquid egg whites
1/4 cup raisins
1/8 cup brown sugar (I used 1 tbsp of Splenda brown sugar)
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Raisin Protein Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F

  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.

  3. Coat muffin tin with cooking spray.

  4. Divide mixture evenly among muffin cups (make sure to include all liquids).

  5. Cook for 12-15 minutes.

  6. Enjoy before or after a workout!
