I took the Quaker Oat Oatmeal cookie recipe and used lower fat and sugar ingredients, as well as whole wheat flour to make the cookies.

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal raisin-chocolate chip cookies modified

3/4 cup Smart Balance
1/2 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1/4 cup Splenda Sugar Blend
1/2 cup egg beaters
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cups Quaker oats
1 cup raisins
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal raisin-chocolate chip cookies modified

  1. Cream Smart Balance and SPLENDA together. Then add all other ingredients.

  2. Dough is thicker than oatmeal cookies usually are. Drop the cookies by tablespoon and use fingers to shape the cookies into flat disks.
