Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Protein Muffins

3 cup uncooked old fashioned oats
1 1/2 cup light soy milk
4 tsp splenda
4 scoops Whey Protein
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp table salt
2 medium banana, ripe and mashed
3 egg white
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Protein Muffins

  1. Step 1

  2. You can use any protein powder you like for these oatmeal protein muffins. Unflavored protein powder works well, but you could also make chocolate oatmeal protein muffins, or banana oatmeal protein muffins, or use any other flavor of protein powder you like. Whey or soy isolate protein powder will be best absorbed by most people.

  3. Step 2

  4. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.

  5. Step 3

  6. Spray a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray and spoon batter into muffin tins. This recipe will make about 12 muffins

  7. Step 4

  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
