0.75 cup Gold Medal Whole Wheat Flour
0.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
0.25 tsp Baking Powder
3 serving Salt Substitute
8 tbsp Organic Unsalted Butter
8 tbsp Fresh Roasted Peanut Butter
3 tsp In the Raw Zero Calorie Sweetener
24 teaspoon Light Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Flaxseed Meal
1.5 oz Water
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup dry Quick Quaker Oats
3 tbsp Organic Unsalted Butter
1 cup Confectioners Sugar
8 tbsp Fresh Roasted Peanut Butter
2.5 tbsp Cream, Fluid, Heavy Whipping

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

  1. In a small bowl, combine water and milled flax seed. Put aside for 2 minutes.

  2. In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1/2 cup peanut butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add milled flax seed and water mixture.

  3. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add these dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Stir. Add oatmeal and stir.

  4. Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet, and press each mound down with a fork to form 1/4 inch thick cookies. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes, or until cookies are a light brown.

  5. To Make Filling: Cream 3 tablespoons butter or margarine with the confectioners' sugar, 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter, and the cream. Spread filling onto half of the cooled cookies, then top with the other half to form sandwiches.
