same as oatmeal pancakes but uses yeast instead of baking powder

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Pancakes Yeast Raised

1 cup cold milk
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cups rolled oats
4 eggs
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon yeast

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Pancakes Yeast Raised

  1. Combine milk and water in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle yeast over the warm mixture. Add oats and flour but don't stir; set aside for 10 minutes, then stir until smooth. Cover and set aside for 30-60 minutes or until mixture almost doubles.

  2. In a separate smaller bowl, whisk eggs, and then add honey, oil, and salt and whisk until mixed well. Combine yeast mixture with egg mixture and blend thoroughly.

  3. Cook on hot griddle
