Very satisfying and nutritious. Recommend serving with yogurt and honey topping. Also good with peanut butter and maple syrup.

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Nut Waffles

2 cups fat free milk
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3 tbsp oil
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp honey
1 cup oats
1 cup walnuts, chopped or pecans

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Nut Waffles

  1. In a blender, blend all ingredients except oats and nuts.

  2. Add oats and nuts and mix well with a spoon.

  3. Bake in hot greased waffle iron.

  4. Batter may be prepared the night before.
