Delicious low-carb waffle..South Beach Safe (Phase 2)

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal/Multi-Grain Waffle

2 tsp imitation vanilla extract
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup water
1 1/4 cup 2% milk
1 egg
1 cup oatmeal
1 1/2 cup multigrain pancake mix
2 tsp splenda
2 tbsp flax seed

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal/Multi-Grain Waffle

  1. Mix dry ingredients first then add all else. You will need to mix until smooth and allow to sit for several minutes until ingredients settle.

  2. Heat waffle iron, pour in batter. Should take 5 minutes to fully cook.

  3. Serve with sugar free syrup or jam. You can also top with fresh fruit.
