Recipe Ingredients for OATMEAL MUFFINS

1 cup milk
1 cup oats
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for OATMEAL MUFFINS

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 celcius and prepare your muffin pan to your liking

  2. In a small bown combine the milk and oats. Soak for about fifteen minutes.

  3. In a seperate bowl, beat the egg and oil; stir in the oatmeal mixture. In a third bowl, sift the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. stir this into the wet ingredients until just combines. Spoon evenly into muffin pan

  4. Bake 20-25 minutes or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean
