Yummy low fat oatmeal raisin walnut cookies!

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Drop Cookies

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup applesauce
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Drop Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350F Grease cookie sheets with cooking spray.

  2. Beat sugar and butter together until blended.

  3. Add applesauce and egg; beat well.

  4. Combine flour, oats, soda, cinnamon and salt in small bowl.

  5. Add flour mixture to sugar/butter mixture; beat until blended.

  6. Stir in raisins, walnuts and vanilla.

  7. Using 3 level tablespoon, drop dough 2- inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.

  8. Flatten slightly.

  9. Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes.

  10. Remove from pan; cool.
