Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal with Dates and Walnuts

2 cups rolled oats
3 1/2 cups soy milk
75 g dates, finely chopped
75 g walnuts, lightly toasted and finely chopped

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal with Dates and Walnuts

  1. In a medium saucepan bring the soymilk to a boil.

  2. Add the oats and a pinch of salt and cook for about 5 minutes, until the oats are softened.

  3. Add the dates and walnuts and cook for 3 minutes longer, to mix the flavors.
