These lovely Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicious and very easy to bake! Just pop it in the oven and in 8-10 minutes you'll be eating some hott cookies!

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal-chocolate Chip Cookies

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 egg white
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup instant nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup regular oats, uncooked
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate
1/4 cup crispy rice cereal

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal-chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat baking oven at 350.

  2. Beat butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy; gradually add brown sugar, and beat well. Add egg, egg white, corn syrup, and vanilla, beating well.

  3. Combine flour, instant nonfat dry milk powder and baking soda.

  4. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels, and rice cereal.

  5. Coat cooking sheets with cooking spray.

  6. Drop dough by 2 rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container.
