Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup Gold Medal whole wheat flour
1/2 cup steel cut oats
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 cup Splenda
1/4 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
8 tablespoons chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and sugars.

  3. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until frothy. Add the vanilla and applesauce. Mix well.

  4. Add dry ingredient gradually to the wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.

  5. Place by spoonfuls on greased or foil-covered cookie sheet.

  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
