Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Cherry White Chocolate Cookies by x17star17x

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a medium bowl using a hand mixer with beater attachments, cream together butter, vanilla, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time until light and creamy.

  3. Beat into the creamed mixture: flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix in quick cooking oats until well combined. Stir in white chocolate chips and cherries. NOTE: Using your hands to mix in chocolate and cherries is easier than trying to stir in with spoon.

  4. Using your hands make 2 inch dough balls. Place dough 3 inches apart onto parchment lined cookie sheet. Flatten dough slightly with palm of hand.

  5. Bake dough for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned. Allow cookies to cool on cookie sheet for 15 minutes before transferring to cooling wrack. For best results, do not over-bake.
