Vegetarian burgers that taste great!

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Cheeseburgers

1 clove garlic
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup oats
2 tbsp ketchup
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 egg
1/8 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp oregano
1 slice swiss cheese

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Cheeseburgers

  1. Mash garlic to a paste with salt

  2. Mix garlic and remaining ingredients except for Swiss cheese in a bowl by hand

  3. Let sit 5-10 minutes.

  4. Shape into 3 patties - coat with oat bran to prevent sticking

  5. Cook in a toaster oven on 350 for about 4 minutes a side.

  6. Put swiss cheese on top during last minute of cooking.

  7. Serve on small round pita or flat bread
