Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Cake

1 cup Oats, Regular And Quick And Instant, Unenriched, Dry
1 1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 []
8 tbsp Unsalted Butter
98 1/2 grams Egg, Whole
1 1/2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Cake

Mix 1 cup oatmeal & hot water; let stand while mixing other ingredients. Combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, & 1 tsp vanilla; add to oatmeal and water. Pour into pans. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Combine sugar, milk and butter in saucepan; cook 3 minutes. Add coconut, nuts and vanilla. Pour on cake.
