Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes

3/4 cup oatmeal
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 egg
2 tbs canola oil
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes

  1. 1 Directions

  2. 1 soak oatmeal in buttermilk for about 20 mins

  3. 2 add together flour, flax seed, baking powder, baking soda.

  4. 3 Mix together egg, oil & vanilla

  5. 4 Pour egg mixture into oatmeal & buttermilk

  6. 5 Add wet ingredients to flour mixture and blend well

  7. 6 Cook normally
