oatmeal bars with any kind of add-in; i like currants :)

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Bars with Currants

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup currants
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Bars with Currants

  1. Preheat oven to 350*

  2. Mix dry ingredients (hold currants/add-ins) and wet ingredients separately.

  3. Combine, adding currants and other add-ins last.

  4. Line a 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper.

  5. Pour batter into the pan. Bake for 40 minutes.

  6. Slice.
