Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 cup skim milk
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp margarine
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 banana
1/3 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

  1. add milk to oatmeal let stand

  2. cream margarine and sugar

  3. add egg and vanilla, mix well

  4. add dry ingredients

  5. mash banana - add to mixture

  6. add oatmeal/milk, mix well

  7. add chocolate chips (mini are the best)

  8. fill greased muffin pan 2/3 full

  9. Bake at 400 for 15-18 minutes
