I haven't tweaked this yet to make it healthier. But its a quick easy, make it and go dessert.

Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Apricot Bars

1 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 c oatmeal
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c margarine
1 c apricot preserves

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Apricot Bars

Combine first 4 ingrediants. Cut in margarine till course and crumbly. Press 2/3's of mixture into an ungreased 13x9 pan. Spread apricot preserves to cover. Sprinkle the remaining 1/3 of oatmeal mixture on top. Bake at 350 (F) or 180 (C) for 30 minutes. ( 40 if starting with a cold oven.) Let cool on a wire rack for ten minutes, cut n serve.
