Recipe Ingredients for Oatmeal Apple Almond Cookies

8 tbs butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup dried apples
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Oatmeal Apple Almond Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. cream butter (softened) with sugars

  3. add eggs one at a time

  4. in a separate bowl, combine all other ingredients except vanilla.

  5. Alternating between the two, add the milk and dry ingredients slow to the butter mixture.

  6. Drop 1 tbsp amounts of dough onto an un-greased cokie sheet. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, until cookies are lightly brown. Remove from oven, let stand for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
