Recipe Ingredients for Oatburgers

9 c water
2 Onions
2/3 c sunflower seeds
2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 c almonds
1/2 c tamari
1/2 c 1 serving pure cranberry juice (lakewood)
1/2 c Nutritional yeast
5 cloves garlic
2 tsp dried basil
8 c Rolled Oats
2 c quick oats
3 tbs olive oil

Recipe Directions for Oatburgers

  1. put everything EXCEPT the oats into a large pot on the stovetop

  2. bring to a boil

  3. stir in all of the oats

  4. remove from heat

  5. let sit for 1 hour or more

  6. form into patties

  7. brush olive oil on both sides of burger press to prevent sticking

  8. bake at 350 F, for 25 minutes on each side

  9. let cool or serve

  10. freeze the rest!
