Use "old fashioned oats" or steel cut oats. If you use steel cut they will need 5 more minutes. You may need to add more water as the grains cook.

Recipe Ingredients for Oat-Spelt-Quinoa Porridge

3 cups cold water
30 grams rolled oats
30 grams spelt flakes
30 grams quinoa flakes
30 grams rasins
1 1/2 gram lite salt

Recipe Directions for Oat-Spelt-Quinoa Porridge

  1. Put water, oats, and spelt in medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook approx. 15 minutes.

  2. Add quinoa and cook an additional 3 minutes.

  3. Addsalt. Cook and additional 2 minutes.

  4. Serve with brown sugar, or maple syrup and milk. Don't forget to measure and count them too!!!
