Recipe Ingredients for Oat Raisin Cookies

3/4 cup wheat flour,all purpose,unbleached
3/4 cup flour, oat
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter,Land 'o lakes, light
1/2 cup Splenda,no calorie,sweetener
1 egg
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe Directions for Oat Raisin Cookies

  1. In a small bowl mix together flours baking powder,salt and cinamon

  2. In medium bowl cream butter(modify by 1/3 with fat substitute and light butter 264 calories)and artificial sugar, then beat in egg

  3. Gradually beat in dry ingredients and oats

  4. Stir in raisins and nuts

  5. Drop by tablespoons onto greased or parchment lined cookie sheet.

  6. Bake in pre-heated oven for 10 - 12 min until light brown

  7. Cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan. Cool completely on the rack
