This Oat Dosa is very healthy and can be easily prepared at home for breakfast. Oats helps reducing bad cholestrol (LDL)

Recipe Ingredients for Oat Dosa

1/2 cup quick oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 pinch baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
35 g Lowfat Plain
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 grated carrot
1/2 cup chopped tomato

Recipe Directions for Oat Dosa

  1. Preparation Time : 10 min

  2. Cooking Time : 10 min

  3. Put all the dry ingredients like oats, wheat flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl and mix it well.

  4. Now add plain yogurt and water and give a stir using whisk till you get a nice batter.

  5. Batter consistency should be thicker than usual dosa or idli

  6. Fine Chop all the vegetables and add it to the above mixture and mix everything well

  7. Put the batter on a non stick pan consistency being a little thicker than usual dosa (like pan cakes).

  8. Roast it to golden brown on both sides. No oil required.

  9. Serve it with coconut chutney or chutney powder
