Kriss really likes these and requested them again. Good with gravy or plain or in burgers. Light and tasty. Can be frozen ahead.

Recipe Ingredients for Oat Burgers (Low fat)

4 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 1/2 cups oats
1/3 cup pecans
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon basil

Recipe Directions for Oat Burgers (Low fat)

  1. Bring water, soy sauce to a boil.

  2. Add oats and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredinets and mix well.

  3. Allow to cool just slightly and scoop with 1/4 cup ice cream scoop and place on a lightly oiled cooked sheet or griddle. Press down to make round patties. Use wet fingers to round the edges.

  4. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

  5. May freeze for later use.
