Recipe Ingredients for Oat Bran Molasses Bread

1 cup Oat Bran
0.33 cup Molasses
3 tsp Yeast
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
4.5 cup Bread Flour

Recipe Directions for Oat Bran Molasses Bread

  1. Mix yeast and two cups of lukewarm water. Let sit for a minute.

  2. Add oat bran, oil, molasses, salt and three cups of the flour.

  3. Knead, adding flour as necessary until dough is the right consistency.

  4. Let rise for an hour in an oiled bowl.

  5. Shape into two loaves (not in a loaf pan -- free-shape loaves).

  6. Bake at 400 degrees for about twenty minutes.
