Basic Oat Biscuits Recipe - add nuts, sultanas, choc chips.. whatever you fancy, to dry mix for a change!

Recipe Ingredients for Oat Biscuits

3 oz Flour
1 serving Baking Soda
3 oz Demerara Brown Sugar
0.75 serving Porridge Oats
75 grams Margarine, Regular, Hard
1 tbsp Honey Squeezable

Recipe Directions for Oat Biscuits

  1. Put the plain flour in a bowl with half a level teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda.

  2. Add the demerara sugar and porridge oats and stir together.

  3. Heat the butter in a pan with a tablespoon of golden syrup.

  4. Mix it altogether and roll it into small balls (you should have about 24).

  5. Set them well apart on a greased baking tray and bake at gas mark 3/ 160 C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
