Recipe Ingredients for Nutwood's Grilled Turkey Burgers

8 oz Ground Turkey
0.33 cup, diced Mushrooms, Portabella
0.5 cup, chopped Onions
1 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
1 tsp Oregano, Ground
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Parsley
0.5 tsp Spices Ground Black Pepper

Recipe Directions for Nutwood's Grilled Turkey Burgers

  1. Dice mushrooms and onions. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Make into 4 equal patties and cook on well heated grill, about 5 minutes per side. These are best if nicely browned or slightly blackened on the outside.

  2. NOTE: It is important that the be grilled, if you try to cook these in a skillet, the turkey will release too much water into the skillet and you will not get the nice crunchy texture on the outside that makes them so good.

  3. Serving suggestions: Serve on a whole wheat dinner roll with a dab of marinara and a small slice of mozzarella, or with typical hamburger dressings.
