A vegan good fats granola bar with nuts, seeds, rolled oats, puffed rice, honey, raisins and peanut butter. It's a great treat for about 110CPO or 4CPG.

Recipe Ingredients for Nutty Johnny Granola Bars

2 cups rolled oats
1 cup puffed rice
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup flax seed
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup peanuts
1/4 cup walnuts
1/4 cup cashews
1/2 cup wheat germ
6 1/2 oz honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 oz peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
6 1/2 oz raisins

Recipe Directions for Nutty Johnny Granola Bars

  1. mix dry ingredients on a baking sheet and toast at 350 degrees for 15 mins, excluding raisins.

  2. mix and cook wet ingredients in a medium heat saucepan while dry ingredients toast.

  3. mix wet and dry ingredients with raisins in a bowl, then pack into a release-sprayed 9x13 glass baking dish.

  4. bake bars for 25 minutes at 300 degrees. Note heat reduction.

  5. Cool and cut into 16 portions.
