Whole grain oats, pecans and fruit or yogurt

Recipe Ingredients for Nuts and Oats

1 cup Oats
1 3/4 cups water
1/4 cup skim milk
1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
1/2 tsp sea salt

Recipe Directions for Nuts and Oats

  1. combine oats, water, milk and salt

  2. cook on stove, medium heat uncovered until boiling

  3. turn down heat, add nuts

  4. cook until liquid is absorbed - about 5 min

  5. serve with desired chopped fruit and a little fat free margarine or 1 spoon of honey yogurt
