Recipe Ingredients for nutritious six step muffins

1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup wheat bran
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups plain yogurt
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup almond oil
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Recipe Directions for nutritious six step muffins

  1. Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl

  2. Mix all liquid ingredients into a separate bowl and wisk together

  3. add chopped nuts and raisins to the dry ingredients

  4. Pour liquid mixutre over flour mixture, and stir together just until thoroughly combined

  5. scoop into 12 greased or paper lined muffin cups

  6. Bake in centre of 375 degrees F oven until tester inserted in centre comes out dry crumbs, 22 to 25 minutes.

  7. Makes 12 muffins
