A gluten free granola-like cereal/snack

Recipe Ingredients for Nutri-Ola

2 cups millet flour
1 cup almonds, coarsely ground
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup apple juice, frozen concentrate
1/2 cup sesame, or walnut or sunflower oil
2 tsp. pure vanilla or almond extract

Recipe Directions for Nutri-Ola

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

  2. Use a blender or food processor to grind nuts, grains or seeds to desired consistency.

  3. Mix the nuts, seeds and/or grains in a large bowl. Mix with fruit and sweetener, oil and vanilla.

  4. Pour over the dry mixture and stir lightly.

  5. Spread mixture into a lightly oiled 15"x10"x1" baking pan. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool.

  6. Break into small pieces for cereal or large chunks for snacks.
