Crunchy nut koftas, lovely with minty yoghurt and pitta bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Nut Koftas

2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp curry powder
100 g ground almond
70 g chopped almond
1 small egg
250 g Cannellini (White Kidney) Beans, Organic

Recipe Directions for Nut Koftas

  1. Heat 2tbsp oil and fry the onions for 4 minutes. Add the chilli, garlic and curry and fry for another minute.

  2. Pour into a food processor with the beans, almonds, egg and some salt and pepper, and blend until the mixture begins to stick together.

  3. Divide the mixture into 8 and mould each eighth around a skewer as a sausage.

  4. Brush the koftas with oil and grill for 5 minutes until golden.
