Refrigerator soup from early November - what's in the fridge that would be good in the crockpot?

Recipe Ingredients for November soup

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 onion
6 oz steak, cubed
1 can corn
3 tomatoes, diced
1 cup raw pumpkin, cubed
2 beets , boiled, skins removed, cubed
1/2 cup raw beet greens , chopped
3 cups yams , cubed raw (about 2 large)
4 small orange bell peppers
2 carrots, chopped
1/4 cup dry brown rice
1/4 cup dry quinoa
1 tsp marjoram
1 tsp thyme
8 cups water (approx)

Recipe Directions for November soup

  1. Set crockpot to high.

  2. Brown meat with onion & garlic.

  3. Toss things in as you chop them. Add water as needed.

  4. Rice & quinoa get added last. Make sure there's plenty of water for them.

  5. Season at final stage, just before dividing into individual portions & freezing. Freezes well.
