Chicken soup basic with basil and vegetables 18 one cup servings When serving, add egg noodles or other starchy carb. I.e. potato, rice etc. ot anything else you would like in it. Don't forget to add the calories to the receipe.

Recipe Ingredients for November Chicken Soup

12 oz Chicken, roasting, meat and skin, raw
1360 4/5 grams Water
1 medium (2-1/2" dia)(110 g) Onions
1 1/2 cup, chopped Carrots
1 oz Basil, Dried
1 tbsp Parsley, Dried
1 cup, diced Celery
1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
1 cup dry Lima Beans
1 cup(245 g) Blended Country Vegetable
1 serving Lite Mixture Salt
1/3 cup Acini Di Pepe
12 oz savoy cabbage
1.76 oz oyster mushrooms

Recipe Directions for November Chicken Soup

  1. Put chicken in water and bring to boil.

  2. remove scum as it begins to boil and discard the scum

  3. add Onion, celery, carrots seasonings and salt. Bring to a rolling boil. Boil for about 10 minuetes, lower flame to simmer.

  4. Simmer for about an hour.

  5. Remove chicken from pot. Seperate the bones and discard them.

  6. Return broken up chicken meat into the pot.

  7. Add frozen lima beans and mixed veggies along with mushrooms. Simmer.

  8. Add the Acini Dei Pepe (pastine)

  9. continue to boil.

  10. Add last dried oyster mushrooms and savoy cabbage and simmer til done.
