Recipe Ingredients for Not your mother's tuna salad

2 can Tuna, Light, Canned In Water
11 oz Roasted Red Peppers
0.25 cup, chopped Pecans
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 clove Garlic
1/4 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Pepper Or Hot
1 dash Salt, Table
0.25 cup, crumbled Feta Cheese

Recipe Directions for Not your mother's tuna salad

  1. Break up tuna in a bowl with a fork.

  2. Whirl 2 roasted peppers with pecans, oil, garlic, cumin, chili flakes and salt in a food processor until smooth. Stir into tuna along with feta and cilantro. Coarsely chop remaining peppers.

  3. Spread tuna mixture on 4 slices of bread. Top with lettuce and some peppers, then sandwich with

  4. remaining bread.
