Basic recipe for Norwegian-style waffles

Recipe Ingredients for Norwegian Waffles

2 large Egg, White
4 tbsp Butter
6 tsp Sugars, Granulated
150 grams Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
15 fl oz Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
0.5 Teaspoon Baking Powder

Recipe Directions for Norwegian Waffles

  1. Mix all ingredients except butter.

  2. Stir until you have an even batter with no lumps.

  3. Leave to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes.

  4. Melt the butter and add to the batter.

  5. Fry in a waffle-iron on fairly high heat.

  6. Serve with jam, butter, sugar or brown cheese.
