Recipe Ingredients for Norwegian Meatballs

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb ground pork
1 small chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tbs. milk

Recipe Directions for Norwegian Meatballs

  1. grind beef and pork together in food processor

  2. mix in onion, salt and 1 tsp nutmeg

  3. add milk to make mushy

  4. form into small meatballstsp

  5. brown quickly and remove from pan

  6. add flour to roux and make gravy

  7. add 1/2 nutmeg to gravy

  8. put meatballs back in gravy and simmer 1-1 1/2 hours
