Slow cooked Northerns Bean & Ham

Recipe Ingredients for Northern Beans

16 oz Great Northern Beans
255 g ham hocks
7 cups water
2 tbs onion powder
1 tbs salt
1/2 tbs pepper
1/2 cup light brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Northern Beans

  1. combine ingredients (execpt brown sugar) in crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

  2. remove bones from ham and return mean to pot

  3. Add brown sugar to mix

  4. Serve
