Recipe Ingredients for Nopalitos

4 serving fresh cactus leaf - uncooked
2 cloves, raw Garlic
0.13 cup Onions
2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbspn extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Nopalitos

  1. 1) Add olive oil, minced garlic and cactus to saucepan and cook on medium heat 10 minutes.

  2. 2) While the cactus is cooking, chop the tomatoes and onion.

  3. 3) After 10 minutes add tomatoes, onion, seasoned salt and garlic powder to the cactus and cook another 5 to 10 minutes on low/medium heat until the cactus changes color.
