Recipe Ingredients for Noodle Kugel

2 cups sour cream
4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
8 oz medium egg noodles
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dark raisins
1/8 cup Cinnamon Sugar

Recipe Directions for Noodle Kugel

Preheat oven 350 F. Bring to a boil a pot of water to cook the noodles. Transfer the sour cream to a bowl. Add eggs, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and milk. Combine all the ingredients together with a spatula until a smooth cream is obtained. Cook the noodles until tender. In a small saucepan melt the butter. Transfer the butter to a 9 x 13 inch oven pan. Drain the noodles throughly and transfer to the pan. Level the noodles with a spatula. Pour the egg/cream mixture evenly on the noodles. Top with the raisin and the cinnamon sugar. Bake for about 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve warm or lukewarm.
