Recipe Ingredients for Nonni's Chicken for Pasta

8 chicken breast, boneless skinless
28 ounce diced tomatoes, including juice
29 ounce chicken broth, fat free low soduim
12 ounces canned mushrooms, or fresh mushrooms
1 large green pepper(and/or red pepper), sliced
1 sweet onion, sliced
1 Garlic powder, to taste
1 Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Nonni's Chicken for Pasta

Place chicken in covered roaster and add rest of ingredients in order listed in recipe. Bake in 325 F. preheated oven (covered) for one hour. Reduce oven temperature to 300 F. and bake uncovered for two more hours. Serve on cooked linguine or your favorite pasta.
