A nice, light pasta sauce... good for making in large quantities and then freezing it.

Recipe Ingredients for Nonna's Pasta sauce

300 g Ground Beef
400 g Tomatoes, Crushed, Canned
680 g Stewed Tomatoes, No Salt Added
2 dash of salt
2 dash of pepper
1 tsp of Garlic Powder
1 tbs Olive oil

Recipe Directions for Nonna's Pasta sauce

  1. Cook the gound beef in the olive oil in a large pot at mid-high temperature

  2. Add the crushed and stewed tomatoes and stir the contents

  3. Add the salt, pepper, garlic and beef cubes

  4. Stir the contents until it looks uniform

  5. Cook for 1.5-3 hours leaving the lid of the pot on

  6. Stir every one in a while so it wont stick

  7. If it seems that too much has evaporated feel free to add a bit of water
