'Cream' of mushroom soup made with almon milk & margarine

Recipe Ingredients for Non-Dairy Mushroom Soup

16 oz Mushrooms
16 fl oz Original Almond Breeze Unsweetened
2 cup Almond Breeze Original
20 tsp Becel Regular Margarine
960 grams Light
1/4 cup White Flour, Unbleached

Recipe Directions for Non-Dairy Mushroom Soup

  1. sautee 4 pounds of diced mushrooms in 1/4 c of margarine.

  2. add 1/4 c flour a little at a time to avoid lumps and cook for 1 minute

  3. add 4 c chicken broth a little at a time to avoid lumps

  4. bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes

  5. add 4 c almond milk (I use a 50/50 mix of original & unsweetened)

  6. boil for 5 minutes & serve
