This chili is mild and tomato-free.

Recipe Ingredients for No Tomato Chili

1/3 lb chicken breast, ground
1/3 lb turkey, ground
1 c chicken broth
2 red peppers
15 oz garbanzo beans
15 oz black beans
15 oz Cannellini Beans
20 oz red kidney beans
2 tbs baking cocoa
2 tbs garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cayenne

Recipe Directions for No Tomato Chili

  1. brown the ground meat in bottom of stock pot, add garlic, onion and chicken broth simmer 5 min

  2. add beans and the remaining seasoning, bring to a boil and let cook for 5 min

  3. turn down to low and let simmer 25-30 min

  4. serve over pasta or rice
