Recipe Ingredients for No sugar tomaoto chutney

1 kg Tomatoes, peeled and chopped
3 large Onions
1 large Apple
30 g Sultanas
1 tbs vinegar
10 ml (2 tsp) Curry Powder
5 ml (1 tsp) Ground Ginger
5 ml (1 tsp) Dry Mustard
2 1/2 ml ( 1/2 tsp) Ground Cinnamon
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Paprika

Recipe Directions for No sugar tomaoto chutney

  1. Wash and chop the tomatoes, peel and chop the onions.

  2. Place the tomatoes, celery, apple, sultanas and onions into a heavy bottomed saucepan, cook gently to release the tomato juices, simmer for 20 - 30 minutes until tender.

  3. Add the salt, paprika and other spices and vinegar, cook gently for 45 minutes or until it begins to thicken.

  4. Continue simmering, until the mixture becomes thick, stirring occasionally.

  5. Jar, and leave for 3 - 5 weeks in the fridge to allow the flavour to mature
